Where Numbers Cease to Count – The Parish of Blakenall Heath 1872-1972 was written by Ronald A. Cason and published in 1972.
Rev. Cason was then the Vicar of Christ Church, Blakenall Heath, and wrote this booklet to mark the centenary of the church, which still thrives today.
It has never been reprinted and to date is the only published work dedicated specifically to Blakenall Heath.
Permission to reproduce and distribute the booklet, including as a download via The Bloxidge Tallygraph, has been obtained from the author and publisher by Jenny Cartwright, Blakenall Know Your Place Project Cor-ordinator.
The Blakenall – Know Your Place Project would like to thank Phil Ball (for doing the scanning, etc) and John Ireland, who loaned his copy of the booklet.
