A show of historic film footage from the 1920s-1950s made by Walsall Sea Scouts is being presented on Tuesday 17 April at The Crossing, Darwall St, Walsall.
Billed as ‘A tribute to L.G. Stanley – ‘Sarg’, the show at 2pm – 4pm is being put on by KineScout Productions, and members of the public are warmly invited to attend
The 16mm films have been preserved, edited and transferred to DVD by the Media Archive for Central England (MACE).

The Third Walsall Sea Scouts group, based at Killock, in Longwood Lane near Aldridge, is a descendant of the group which acted in the films on show.
Stuart Williams of Walsall Local History Centre is providing the projection equipment for the show, which is taking place in the East Room at the venue, which is contained within St Paul’s Church.
Tickets for the show cost £3.50 and are available on the day.
