The event will be introduced by Paul Davies, Executive Director – Social Care & Inclusion, Walsall Council. During the morning attendees will be playing a board game ‘Whose Shoes’ that gets them to step into each other’s shoes, raise their awareness and understanding of personalisation and what personalisation really means for them.
This will help them to build an innovative ’path’ to personalisation that ensures support services offer value for money, give people genuine choice and control over how they wish to live their lives and what is important to them.
The session takes place on 7 December 2011 between 9.30am to 1pm in Room WP104, University of Wolverhampton, School of Health and Wellbeing, Boundary House, Walsall Campus, Gorway road Walsall WS1 3BD.
