This year’s festive season in Bloxwich looks set to start with a bang in just a few short weeks, thanks to Bloxwich Business Partnership, as they stage their second annual Sparkle Into a Bloxwich Christmas event on Saturday 26 November.

And the partnership is aiming to use the event to both foster a greater sense of community and bring Bloxwich talent to the fore by showcasing local schools, community groups, churches, and key partners within the day’s programme of activities.

The event, which is supported by many local businesses and organisations as well as Rotary Club of Bloxwich Phoenix, St Giles Walsall Hospice and Walsall Council, will raise awareness of Bloxwich as a whole and what the village has to offer, including retail, leisure facilities and our proud and distinctive history and heritage.

Some of the features of Sparkle Into a Bloxwich Christmas will include:

  • Santa on his sleigh handing out a free gift.
  • A Christmas Trail.
  • Best Dressed Shop Window Competition judged by St Giles Walsall Hospice.
  • Business Festive Offers and Christmas Activities.
  • Christmas Fayre organised by and at St John’s Methodist Church.
  • Santa Stroll and Dash in Bloxwich Park, organised by St Giles Walsall Hospice (see poster link below).
  • Decorations made by local schools in shop windows.
  • Christmas Charity Stalls on Bloxwich Market.
  • A Christmas Raffle.
